Embedded software engineer / Firmware developer (m/f/d)

What awaits you as a Software Engineer/Firmware Developer

• Design, development, implementation and validation of software and firmware in cross-functional HW/SW environments.
• Development of routines and automatic tests for manufacturing and quality assurance
• Design of interfaces (APIs) to internal and external system components
• Specification of application-related hardware requirements
• Implementation of IoT communication protocols (e.g., MQTT) and algorithms through digital signal processing.

Your profile

• Successfully completed university studies in electrical engineering, information technology, electronics, computer science, engineering informatics or a comparable course of study
• Relevant experience to develop software for embedded systems and microcontroller firmware in C/C++ and related development environments.
• Ideally, experience with the Espressif Internet of Things Development Framework (ESP-IDF) and RTOS.
• Practical experience in using hardware debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.) 
• Strong communication skills (also in English), independent structured way of working, analytical thinking and team spirit
